Trancoso
Hoje fomos na praia muito bonita ( e a favorite de Bernardo) na Bahia, Trancoso. A areia branca, o mar muito azul e arvores. Temos um dia otimo para relax e o ultimo dia de Bahia, antes de Rio de Janeiro.
Today we went to one of the most beautiful beaches ( and Bernados favorite one !!) of the Bahia, Trancoso. White sand, blue sea and palms. We had a great day to relax and enjoy the last day in Bahia, before going to Rio de Janeiro.

Arraial d`Ajuda
Hoje nos queremos ir para a praia da cidade Trancoso. Mas o tempo estava mal , então a gente mudou o programacao e foi para cidade alta do Porto – Seguro, o parte histórico . Nos fomos no lugar a onde os Portugueses primeiro descobriam o Brasil 500 anos atrás e encontraram as indigenos a primeira vez. Nos visitamos também a primeira igreja crista no Brasil. Depois nos tinhamos uma vista maravilhosa do mar.
Depois nos tínhamos uma hora na feira pra comprar artesanato feito dos índios do Brasil. Agora estava a hora de ir para praia ..... ,o que e famoso por axé, um tipo de dança da Bahia. A gente tinha o oportunidade de fazer uma aula de axé e funk junto com um monte de brasileiros que sempre gostam de encontrar conosco. Breve os intercambiários ficaram conhecidos !!
Enfim era um dia de cultura, dança e sol na praia.
A noite nos podíamos escolher entre duas baladas.

Arraial d`Ajuda
Today the plan was to go to a very beautiful beach in Trancoso. But the weather was really bad, so we decided to change the programme.With the bus we went to the upper city of Porto-Seguro, the historical part.
We went to the place where the Portugese first discovered Brazil 500 years ago and met the civilized Indians for the first time, and to the place where the first Christ church in Brazil was built and the first <> was hold. From there we had a beautiful view over the ocean.
After we had time to buy special Indian handcraft (<>) and other things which are tipical for the northeast of Brazil.
Now it was time to go to the crowded beach <<…>> which is famous for <>, a Brazilian kind of dance. We had the opportunity to join a funny lesson together with a lot of Brazilian guys, which always like to get to know everyone of us.Just after few time the AFS-exchange students got really famous!!! So we were called to go onto the stage and show to the other people what we already know about the Brazilian culture and how to dance <>.
We went home after a nice day with Brazilian culture, dance and sun on the beach.
In the evening we could choose between staying in Arraial d`Ajuda or going to the neighbor city Porto-Seguro to join a bigger party in a place called <>.

Itacarezinho
O dia começou com chuva por isso ninguém estava muito animado. Mas chegamos na praia, itacarezinho, o sol saiu e todo mundo pulou no mar, brincando e rindo. Foi um dia tranqüilo e todo mundo podia fazer o que quiser. Algumas foram caminhar pra uma outra praia que tambem era linda!
As ondas foram muito altas e nos ficamos pulando em cima e em baixo delas. Foi muito legal e engraçado. Todo mundo voltou queimada, com areia no biquíni e com muito sal nos olhos mas feliz!
Fomos jantar na melhor pizzaria da cidade e foi muito bom mesmo! JAMMIIEEE

The Day started rainy that`s why everybody was a little bit down. But when we arrived at the beach, itacarezinho, the sun appeared and everybody pulled into the sea, playing and laughing. It was a calm day and everybody could do whatever they wanted. Some went to another beautiful beach!
The waves were really high and we kept on jumping over and under them. It was really cool and funny. Everybody was sunburned, had sand in their bikinis and salt in their eyes but happy!
At night we ate the best pizza in town! YUMMIIEE

Itacaré e barra grande
O dia começou devagar porque tinha bastante gente dormindo. Algumas foram pra conhecer a praia e a cidade. A cidade é pequena, mas legal e a praia tava linda também.
O coordenador, Bernardo, sorteou 7 pessoas para conhecer a famosa praia da barra grande para gente dar opinião e dizer se vale a pena incluir a visita para o grupo do ano que vem. Saímos do hotel e entramos no Land Rover para começar a aventura. Tivemos que atravessar o rio, andar numa estrada muito ruim mas depois vimos uma vista maravilhosa! Comemos um pastel e continuamos nosso caminho. Visitamos algumas vilas lindas antes de chegar na praia mais linda dessa viagem. Ficamos lá um tempinho andando, rindo, tomando suco, nadando e se divertindo. Finalmente tivemos que voltar mas com certeza valeu a pena! Obrigado Bernardo!
Os outros ficaram na praia perto da pousada, na cidade, na piscina,... simplesmente relaxando!
Quando todos se reuniram fomos jantar e depois fomos comprar lembranças na cidade. Foi um dia legal.

The Day started really slow because there were a lot of people a sleep. Some went to get to know the beach and the city. It`s little but really nice.
The coordinator, Bernardo, chose 7 people to get to know the famous beach of barra grande to give their opinion and to tell if it`s worth to visit next year with the next group. We left the hotel and got in the Land Roover to start our adventure. We had to cross a river, take a really bad road but afterwards we had the most beautiful view ever! We ate pastel and continued our road. We visited some nice villages before we got to the most beautiful beach we had seen this trip. We stayed there a little while enjoying, laughing, walking, drinking juice, swimming and just having fun. Finally we had to return but it really was worth it. Thank you Bernardo!!
The others stayed at the beach close to the hotel, in the city, at the pool,… just relaxing!
At the end of the day everyone went together to the restaurant and afterwards to the city to buy souvenirs. It was a great day.

Natal
Em Natal a gente ficou num hotel muito bom. O hotel era muito perto da praia. Teve umas piscinas lindas também pra quem não queria nadar no mar. Embaixo no hotel teve uma sauna e um jacuzzi. De amanha eu fui pra uma fortaleza. A maioria do grupo foi também mas teve também umas pessoas que ficavam no hotel pra dormir mais ou pra nadar ou pra fazer uma outra coisa que eu não sei por que eu não perguntei a todo mondo o que eles fizeram no tempo que eu não estava la por que isso e um pouco estranho. A gente estava de volta do `citytour` a umas 11 horas e o resto do dia todo mundo ficou no hotel. A gente nadou, jogou bola ou ficou na sauna. Foi um dia pra relaxar. A praia do hotel era muito boa e eu acho que todo mundo gostou desse hotel. Na noite a gente foi pra uma feira pra comprar umas coisas. Depois a gente foi jantar num restaurante com comida típica do nordeste. Foi ótimo. Isso era nosso dia em Natal.

In Natal we stayed in a very nice hotel. It was really close to the beach and it also had some nice swimming pools. Downstairs in the hotel was a sauna and a Jacuzzi. In the morning we went to visit a fort. Most of the people went but there were also some people who preferred staying in the hotel to get some more sleep, to swim or to do something else which I don’t know because I didn’t ask everybody what they did because that’s a bit weird.We were back from our citytour at 11 am and for the rest of the day we stayed at the hotel playing soccer or swimming in the pool or the ocean or hanging around in the sauna. It was a day to just relax. The beach was really pretty and I think everybody liked this hotel. At night we went to a market to buy some things and after that we went to eat in a restaurant with typical food from the north east. It was nice. This was our day in Natal.

Jericoacoara
Com sorte o segundia dia em Jericoacoara foi bem mais ensolarado que o primeiro e o passeio de buggy, como combinado, deu certo. Depois do café da manha, tudo mundo prontinho para começar uma jornada bem legal, cheia de sol, de vento no cabelo (tipo “L’oreal, parce que jê le vaux bien ...”), de pulo em cima das dunas lindas, de paisagens de uma cor so.. enfim de aventuras únicas ! Depois de ter tomado um banho quentinho dentro da lagoa (perto da cidade dos pescadores chamada Tatajuba) e ter comido algumas frutas frescas cortadas na hora, nos fomos voltar para o hotel aonde o almoço estava esperando a gente na mesa. Quando terminar almoçar, o tempo foi livre : teve gente quem foi caminhar na praia, teve outra gente quem quis fazer de novo o passeio de cavalo ate ver o por do sol la de cima das dunas.. e ainda outra gente quem, simplesmente, resolveu descansar na cama.. As 7 horas estava prevista uma aula de forro cuja eu não assisti (estava tão cansada...), ou seja sera difficil testemunhar mas do que eu ouvi falar, acredito que tudo mundo achou interessante. Uma balada no lugar que a gente foi o primeiro dia, foi combinada as 9 horas. Alguns foram, alguns resolveram tocar violão e contar historias la em cima na piscina, exaustos por causa do sol quentíssimo que nos tomamos o dia todo... Enfim, no final do dia, quando fui deitar, percebi que chegou o dia mais cansativo (e talvez mais exótico.. ate agora !) que passei desde o inicio. Abracei a cama com muito carinho !
With luck in our 2nd Day in Jericoacoara we had a lot of sun for our ride with buggy. After breakfast everybody was ready to start an awesome adventure, with sun, wind in our hairs and beautiful sights. After sometime we got to a laggon and could swim there. The water was warm and we ate fresh fruits. After that we went back to the hotel and our lunch was already there. After lunch we had free time, some people went to walk on the beach and others went horse riding to watch the sunset. And there was of course people that just stayed in bed. At 7 pm we had a forro class, I was tired and didn’t go but everybody that went thought it was really nice and fun. After the forro class we had dinner at the hotel and right after some of us went to dance more forro and some others just stayed in the pool. In the end of the day I realized how tiring but really exciting our day was.

Jericoacoara
O dia começou bem tranqüilo com um café de manha no hotel. Se nos quissemos nos podemos passear na cidade ate todos juntos foram caminhar na praia. O mar foi forte e um pouco frio aquele dia, mas tudo mundo entrou correndo na água e foi ainda bem gostoso!!
Mas logo começou de chover e nos voltamos para hotel rápido. Em Jericoacoara tudo e muito perto, ma s quando nos chegamos tudo mundo já foi molhado.
Mas mais tarde nos voltamos para as dunas onde nos andamos cavalo. Já foi meio escuro e quando nos subimos a duna com cavalo, nos podemos ver a cidade a noite. Maravilhoso!!
Depois, todos com fome, nos fomos rápido jantar no hotel e sair a noite para uma balada de Forro e Reggae. A gente tentou dançar Forro – poucos já sabiam e o outros aprende. Entao foi muito legal que a gente foi bem cansada quando nos chegamos tarde no hotel e dormiram quase agora.
The Day started really calm with breakfast at the hotel. The day was free and if we wanted we could go downtown or to the beach. The sea was dangerous and kind of cold but everybody went running and swan a little. When we started swimming it also started raining and we had to run back to the hotel, which was ok because in Jericoacoara everything is really close. In the afternoon some of us went to ride a horse and it was really beautiful. And in the evening, everybody was already hungry we had dinner and went to dance forro and reggae. We tried to dance forro, some of us already knew and the others tried. After that everybody was tired again and went to the hotel to get some sleep.
